Virtualization has recently been implemented to optimize memory usage. When reaching a critical low memory level Surfy also stops any ongoing navigation to prevent a crash. Under some scenarios it is, however, not possible to prevent the web browser component, which all third-party browsers use, from exceeding the memory available to the app and crashing.
